Since then the spirit of the medicine has been dispersed. In some cases the power of the medicine has been lost and many charlatans have misused it and use it as a way to manipulate vulnerable people and get their emotional needs met.

I have spent many years following the path of the spirit. In the early 90's I fragmented and became disconnected from this reality in many ways. I left my body and moved into a state of what people refer to as madness. I found my path or should I say my path found me and showed me the direction to wellness and insight through Contemporary Shamanism. I have studied for many years in Australia, England and America and trained as a spiritual counsellor and Shamanic guide in this pathway. I have often been refered to as a spiritual midwife for those wanting to integrate their spirit life with their day to day lives.
I have worked within and on the fringe of the mental health system for over 18 years as well as speaking at conferences, mental health first aid seminars, teaching awareness in spiritual sensitivity through adult education, guiding group meditations and leading free -write writing groups within the health system. I am available to speak at conferences, talks, festivals and groups.

Counselling n Guidance Outline of Consultation with Odette Nightsky
First consultation with Odette takes approx an hour and a half. The first half of the consult is about sharing your story, connecting, getting to the bottom of your wounding issue and what you are seeking to heal. This is a bit like a relaxed interview over a cup of tea. The secound part of the consult is Odette sitting with you as you lie back on a comfortable lounge chair Odette then receives and reads your spirit body, picking up information, messages, visions and guidance from spirit depending on your healing needs.
Consecutive consultations are aimed at building up your spirit self in safety. This is done through Guided Journeywork, Contemporary Shamanic Techniques and other tools. The inner self is empowered by journeying in a state of deep relaxation to meet with guides,power animals, creating your own inner sanctuary and travelling to before birth to see what your agreement was before you came into this life. If there is great trauma in your life, what is needed is to build a strong spiritual inner core of safety to be able to deal with and clear the charge on the wounds of the past. Once the spirit body is stronger we can go tracking the wounds and clearing them in both other lives and this present life, with 'Soul Tracking Journeywork'. We are then able to clear vows and promises made in the unconscious. This is done with total awareness and drug free.
Its important that what you learn becomes your own recipe of wellness and works in accordance with your own life path.
